About Me

I became interested in electrolysis after learning that a relative had been receiving treatment. I was astonished to discover that those little "lady mustaches" so many of us have aren't just something we have to accept or constantly maintain. They can actually be removed permanently. I was immediately intrigued.

As I learned more, I discovered that electrolysis combines careful technical skill with an understanding of biology and hair growth. I appreciate the science behind the process, and I enjoy the precision that permanent hair removal requires. What surprised me most, though, was how much I enjoyed performing treatments. I find it strangely satisfying to watch each hair disappear forever, one follicle at a time.

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the difference it makes for my clients. Whether someone is treating hairs on the face, underarms or back as an act of self-care, seeking relief from coarse hair associated with PCOS or addressing unwanted hair anywhere else on the body, the goal is the same: helping people feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.

One unexpected joy of owning my own practice has been the people I meet. I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients. Since I'm self-employed, I like to think that they're my colleagues!

A Little More About Me

When I'm not in the office, I'm usually writing fiction, browsing thrift stores and estate sales, or enjoying a good game. I love both video gaming with my husband and board games with family. I always appreciate a clever game or a great story, but best of all, a clever game with a great story.

I'm also the very fortunate human of two wonderfully fluffy cats who are completely convinced the world revolves around me. I haven't found any evidence to change their minds.

I enjoy learning new things and practicing skills that reward patience and attention to detail. Electrolysis has become one of those pursuits for me. It continues to challenge me, keeps me learning, and gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and I still find it just as satisfying as when I first discovered it.
